Previously, she managed global Alpha/Beta programs at Sonos, Nest, and Google that engage testers and garner feedback on new product development. In her role, she was responsible for planning and executing on Beta programs that range from 50 testers to 300,000 testers using a combination of qualitative and quantitative data to create actionable insights for our product development teams. The goal of our field-testing programs are to identify the corner cases and usability issues when our products are “in the wild”.  We optimize our tester segmentation by targeting specific groups of users based on characteristics like the devices they use, the age of their children, the pets they own, and their home or/work technology environment.  Understanding the nuances of each tester group is necessary to understand how best leverage our limited Beta tester pool to gain maximum feedback and insight.
